Project Overview
We were tasked by Dr. Wymore of Iowa State University to work on streamlining and adding new features into his personal project Memworld, a direct memory rendering software. This project was provided in it’s early development, with many features missing and running with poor performance at higher fidelities. Our task was to explore different optimization strategies to increase performance as well as adding features to ensure more can be done with the program, ultimately culminating in a game developed for the engine to showcase the progress made during the year.List of Features
